12 States File Antitrust Lawsuit to Block Paramount-Warner Bros. Discovery Merger

Despite the go-ahead from the Department of Justice, a coalition led by California AG Rob Bonta said the merger would "extinguish competition" and "inflict substantial harm on movie theatres, basic cable distributors, and, ultimately, audiences nationwide."
